Our mission at Boys & Girls Club of Tahlequah is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Character & Leadership
Programs in Character & Leadership empower youth to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image and good character, participate in the democratic process, and respect their own and others’ cultural identities.
Health & Lifeskills
Programs in the Health & Lifeskills core area develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults
Education & Career
Programs in the Education & Career core area enable youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, set goals, explore careers, prepare for employment and embrace technology to achieve success in a career.
Boys & Girls Club of Tahlequah is the proud recipient of Boys & Girls Club of America TIER of Youth award for our dedicated advocacy around issues impacting our local youth. We are committed to advocating for practical policies & solutions that will make a positive difference for our kids!

“Tenaya Perkins has been an incredible Youth Leader at the Tahlequah Middle School’s Boys & Girls Club unit, serving as a positive role model and mentor to all the young people they work with. Her positive energy, dedication, and passion for helping kids and teens reach their full potential is evident in everything they do.
