February Staff Spotlight

We would like to congratulate Abella Simmons from Cherokee as our February Spotlight!

“Miss Abella is a breath of fresh air. Her day begins at Cherokee at 6:55am each day. She works the Before-School Program, during the day as a Paraprofessional, and the After-School Program. Her work day is over 10 hours long, but you would never know it. She greets everyone by name and with a smile. In the After-School Program she spends her time with kindergarten. Her interaction with the kindergartners is precious. She is always physically getting down on their level to play games and engage with them. They absolutely love her. I would also be remise if I didn’t also mention her dependability. Miss Abella rarely misses work. I can always count on her to be there with a smile on her face eager to do whatever is asked of her.”
